Local, state health agencies deem water fit for consumption

Full water service to the Harbor area was restored Friday afternoon following a disruption in the water service in an isolated area of the southeast section of the harbor, south of the Magnolia/Queensway bridge, on Wednesday, October 20.
State and local health and water officials have repeatedly tested water samples from the impacted area and declared it is safe for all uses. Water service outside of the Port was not affected.
Shipping operations in the Port of Long Beach were not impacted and cargo is flowing uninterrupted.
