The Chief Information Officer and Director of Information Management leads the division that helps improve business processes and implement business-critical systems that make the Port more effective. Information Management is also responsible for providing technology expertise and ensuring that the Port's technology users receive the highest customer service through continuous service improvement.

The Director of Maintenance oversees a team of 98 employees and an annual operating budget of $20 million. The Department is responsible for providing all maintenance services for the public infrastructure and facilities within the Port’s 7,600 acres of wharves, state-of-the-art cargo terminals, roadways, rail yards and shipping channels.

The Director of Master Planning oversees the division that provides plans, studies, forecasts and coordination services to Port divisions, City departments and other governmental entities so that they can make informed and timely land use, development and leasing decisions.

The Senior Director of the Program Delivery Group and Chief Harbor Engineer provides oversight for all administrative and technical activities for the Port's Project Delivery Group, part of the Engineering Services Bureau. The group comprises three divisions – Program Management, Construction Management and Project Controls. The three divisions are responsible for a decade-long, $4 billion capital improvement program, including the new Middle Harbor Container Terminal and the replacement of the aging Gerald Desmond Bridge.

The Director of the Program Management Division in the Program Delivery Group of the Port of Long Beach Engineering Services Bureau oversees the Port’s capital improvement program which includes dredging, wharf, terminal, building, railroad, bridge safety, roadway and utility projects.

With an ultimate goal of reducing costs, the Project Controls Division serves all other Engineering Divisions and is responsible for data gathering, management and analytical process; predicting, understanding and influencing time and cost outcomes, and identifying schedules and cost variances.

The Director of Security Services oversees more than 80 security personnel, including Harbor Patrol officers, and directs the Homeland Security Program for the 3,000-acre Port complex, including 24-hour patrols, anti-terrorism programs and security coverage.

The Director of Tenant Services and Operations oversees the division that emphasizes the importance of good working relationships with Port tenants and supply chain partners. As the primary contact between customers and management, the division provides customer service, operations support and efficiency enhancements to optimize port business.
